Dismantling, Assembly & Alignment

Dismantling, Assembly & Alignment

Correct dismantling, assembly, and alignment protect rotating equipment from avoidable shaft, coupling, seal, and bearing damage. Synergy Global supports planned maintenance, equipment replacement, and outage work at customer sites and in the workshop.

Controlled dismantling

Before work starts, equipment orientation, coupling position, clearances, connections, and accessible baseline readings are recorded. Components are identified and handled in sequence to preserve traceability and reduce the risk of installation errors.

Assembly and dimensional checks

Mating surfaces, fits, fasteners, bearings, seals, and coupling components are inspected before assembly. Required clearances and tightening practices are applied in accordance with the available equipment information and approved work scope.

Precision alignment

Laser or dial-based alignment is performed as appropriate for the machine train. Soft foot, offset, angularity, pipe strain, and coupling condition are considered before final readings are recorded and the equipment is released for operation.

Service Highlights

  • Pre-dismantling records, marking, and component traceability
  • Inspection of fits, clearances, couplings, fasteners, and mounting surfaces
  • Soft-foot correction and precision shaft alignment
  • Final alignment readings and service handover report
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can dismantling and alignment be completed at our site?

Yes. Site work can be planned for operating plants, shutdowns, or equipment replacement projects, subject to access, lifting arrangements, permits, and site safety requirements.

Do you provide laser alignment?

Yes. Laser shaft alignment can be provided where suitable, with dial-indicator methods available when machine configuration or site conditions require an alternative approach.

What information is needed before mobilization?

Useful information includes equipment drawings, coupling type, machine ratings, site location, lifting limitations, shutdown window, permit requirements, and any known vibration or alignment history.

Are final alignment readings documented?

Yes. The service record can include initial condition, corrections made, final offset and angular readings, soft-foot observations, and recommendations identified during the work.
