Contamination can restrict cooling, damage insulation, accelerate corrosion, and interfere with mechanical operation. Synergy Global selects chemical washing, dry-ice blasting, or steam cleaning according to the contaminant, component material, insulation condition, and required cleanliness.
Method selection
Oil, grease, dust, carbon, salt, and process deposits respond differently to each cleaning method. The equipment condition and sensitive areas are reviewed before the cleaning medium, pressure, temperature, and protection measures are agreed.
Controlled cleaning execution
Dry-ice blasting can remove deposits with limited secondary residue, while chemical or steam cleaning may be appropriate for robust components and specific contamination. Bearings, instrumentation, insulation, and open passages are protected as required.
Drying and inspection
Electrical components are dried and checked before testing or reassembly. Final inspection confirms that ventilation paths, surfaces, and accessible components are clean and identifies any defects revealed after contaminant removal.
